With the loss of the oldest football-related building in the world, no other news can come close, in 2021. In terms of the Media, there has been barely a ripple. The destruction of an iconic building has passed with almost no comment.

I am in Australia for the month: specifically Melbourne. I am meeting up with fellow historians. With any luck, I will get to see the last resting place of Eadie Fraser. I have to say: Melbourne’s libraries are rather excellent.
